I'm a retired construction worker,.58 yrs. old and live alone. I have had many gratifying moments in my life as well as all time lows. I'm sure we can all say the same, My children have brought me my greatest love and my grandchildren even more. But the women I have known in my life, they are my inspiration for the most. I'm a romantic at heart but for some reason or another I can't seem to get over the ten year mark. I've been married three times but that may be deceiving. I still care very much for all of them.                                                                                    I have written all my life but never shared my work. Eventually it would be thrown away and life goes on. My dearest friend, possibly my greatest love, Inspired me to write. So I did, a poem about her Which I called Golden Eyes. She was the first I had shared a poem with and insisted I never throw another away. She kept them safely put away. Many of my poems were inspired by Amy.                                       My life has had more experiences than most, So I fortunately have much to draw upon. I love God but so often fall short. I believe I take advantage of his forgiveness. I, the prodigal son. You now know a little about me and I hope to keep writing so you may know of me better.                                                           To end I would like to say, I don't believe in form. I believe every writing is in the individuals way and if the words come out and wrap around, engulf and whisp you away, even but a brief moment. That is poetry. It doesn't have to rhyme. Poetry can even be seen, or experienced. I believe poetry has no boundries.
